At long last, the darkest of dungeons awaits you on XBOX ONE!
To celebrate Darkest Dungeon’s arrival on the platform, for a limited time only all purchases of the game will include the Crimson Court DLC for free (normally $9.99). The store package is named Darkest Dungeon®: Crimson Edition, and retails for $24.99 or regional equivalent. When porting to XBOX ONE we had a choice to make between new exclusive content for XBOX ONE owners only or to bundle Crimson Court DLC free for a limited time. We decided the latter was the best way to celebrate the launch, and ensure that none of our existing players were locked out of any possible new content.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Aaron Melcher of Knockout Games (http://knockoutgames.co/) who did the excellent porting and adaptation to XBOX ONE. His experience and attention to detail has been a wonderful asset, and he’s an all-around terrific gaming enthusiast as well. We continue to be very fortunate to work with such good people.
The Shieldbreaker DLC is also available immediately. It’s priced at $3.99 and includes an all new hero and some new monsters and items.

Can I import my PC/Switch/PS4/iOS/VITA save?
Unfortunately, that won’t be possible.
Do I have to play with The Crimson Court when I purchase Darkest Dungeon®: Crimson Edition?
No! In fact, we recommend that your first game is played without enabling the Crimson Court DLC. However, it’s up to you when you’d like to enable it. You can even enable parts of the DLC (e.g. the Districts town upgrading feature) without enabling the entire package. Get 50 game weeks in and want to start checking out the DLC? Feel free to enable it on the fly and it will integrate into your existing save file.
Will the future “Color of Madness” DLC be available for XBOX ONE?
Yes, we plan to make Color of Madness available on all platforms.
Will the XBOX ONE version support mods?
Mods are only supported on Steam Workshop.
